G.U Prem Kumar

G.U. Prem Kumar is an Indian director, actor, and editor who works primarily in Kannada cinema. His work often blends realism with stylized intensity, drawing inspiration from world cinema while remaining rooted in the streets and voices of Karnataka. His key works include Video (2026), for which he served as a promotional editor, and his short film Satya (2025), which secured first place in the Hombale Films 48-Hour Filmmaking Challenge, additionally Nodi Swamy (2026), which was critically acclaimed for being shot entirely in a single take.
