Abdulsalam Saleh Hussein is an independent Libyan director, writer, and cinematographer, born in Sabha on (January 3 - 2003) He began his professional artistic journey in 2024 by founding his production company, Rode 24 Plus, to serve as a creative platform for innovative and experimental cinema.
Abdulsalam’s work is characterized by a profound inclination toward surrealism and mystery, focusing on exploring the depths of the human psyche and the enigmatic realm of dreams. His films often feature characters enduring intense internal and spiritual conflicts, opting to leave philosophical questions open without providing conventional answers. He made his official cinematic debut in 2025 with the film "Between Tea and the Ashtray", a work that showcased his identity as a surrealist artist searching for an unfamiliar and striking visual language.
