Ataka51

Ataka51 is a collective of directors Alexander Epikhov and Dimitri Gorbaty, and cinematographer Sergei Medvedev. Their short film Hymn of the Plague received the Pardino d’Argento at the 77th Locarno Film Festival and was selected for the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section of the San Sebastián International Film Festival, as well as for festivals in Winterthur, Reykjavík, Vienna, Dresden, Trieste, Santa Barbara, and many others.

Their work has also been recognized by D&AD, the Young Directors Award, UKMVA, Farago Projects Prize, Ciclope Festival, Le Club des D.A., Clio, Sharks, BMVA.

Members of the collective have participated in Cité Internationale des Arts × Institut Français program, Providenza 2025, Locarno Filmmakers Academy 2025, and Locarno Residency 2026.
