After the funeral of his mother, Rahmat, a magazine journalist, goes back to Jakarta. He then learned that his dad, Ki Zainal, along with the locals of his hometown of Ciamis, will rally to Jakarta as part of the 2 December acts.

Haunted by the sins in his past, a journalist decides to become a humanitarian volunteer in the Palestinian border refugee camp. In that area, he meets Hayya, an innocent orphaned girl who is a victim of the conflict in Palestine.
