Investigative reporter Ashwathy tries to expose the nexus between politics and crime. In doing so, she ends up causing a rift between Sagar, a smuggler, and his accomplice Sekharankutty, the CM's son.

Sagar, known as Jackie, among the criminal underworld, is called by his friend Indu to rescue her husband Manu from the Rozario gang, who kidnapped him. Jackie rescues Manu with ease, but it ensues a gang war.
