The King & The Commissioner collection

Bharathchandran, an honest city police commissioner, loses his temper each time he encounters corrupt authorities and politicians. So he decides to put an end to various social and political evils.

The King is a 1995 Malayalam action thriller film. Directed by Shaji Kailas and written by Renji Panicker with Mammootty in the title role as district collector.

Hyder Ali Hassan, a scheming politician, is in league with the underworld and runs a lot of illegal businesses. Balachandran, an IPS officer, is sent on a mission to capture him.
