Season 3

Krillin Sanchez, now Juan for insurance purposes gets a massive payout of money off his death. Shortly after gets a girlfriend named Maron who might be a golddigger. The gang celebrates turtle's 1000th birthday, Lord Popo says no to the whole Garlic Jr. Saga.

Vegeta returns to Earth after a long training stint, begins living with Bulma, and gets a change in wardrobe that leaves him tickled pink. Goku screwed up by leaving Frieza alive and now he and his father King Cold have come to earth to seek revenge. Unfortunately, Goku is still making his way back through space, the Z-fighters have gathered to try and stop them. Will they be able to hold out till Goku arrives?

A mysterious stranger who appears to be another Super Saiyan shows up and cuts Frieza's and King Cold's time on Earth short. After meeting up with the gang he claims to know where Goku will land in a couple of hours. Who is this mysterious stranger? and how does he know so much?

Goku has finally returned to Earth. After he lands, the mysterious stranger named Trunks asks to speak with him in private. During this conversation, Goku( and Piccolo) learn from Trunks that he has come from the future to warn them about a coming danger of monster androids (cyborgs) that kill almost everyone. He tells Goku that shortly beforehand he will die of heart failure and he has also brought medicine to ensure Goku can be there to confront them. There are also some surprising revelations about Trunks heritage

Everyone has been training intensely for the past three years to get ready to confront the androids and the prophesied day has finally come. Goku and the gang search South City for the androids the old fashioned way after learning they cannot sense their energy. After Yamcha gets Yamcha'ed when finally finding the androids the gang convince the androids to take their fight out to a wasteland Piccalo conveniently knows about. Something about Goku also seems off; he did take the medicine right?

Goku's Super Saiyan form was an unexpected variable for the androids, and he is taking them to the cleaners. Unfortunately, it turns out Goku was not taking his medicine and collapses, grape flavored go figure. Things are looking grim when Vegeta reappears. Has his training paid off this time?

After Vegeta utterly dismantles android 19, Android 20 flees, and everyone else takes off in pursuit. The two parties play a game of cat and mouse. Trunk's has finally returned and joins the fray only to reveal some shocking information on the androids

After shooting down Bulma's air car, Android 20 gets away. Bulma reveals that Android 20 was actually Dr. Gero the creator of the androids and gives them Gero lab location. The Z-fighters take off in pursuit again to stop Gero before he can activate the "REAL" androids. Will they stop Gero in time?

Dr. Gero has managed to activate the androids, but it turns out they were not to keen on being under his thumb and kill him. Also, there was another android named 16 who's sole purpose is murdering Goku. After agreeing that sounds fun, the androids begin their quest of tracking Goku down. The Z-fighters and the androids face off for real this time. Will they be able to defeat them?

The androids utterly defeat the Z-fighters except for Krillin................ he gets kissed by the cute one. In the wake of their defeat, everyone contemplates what do next. Piccolo goes off to see if Kami will fuse back with him

The androids take a pit stop in their quest to kill Goku to acquire a car. Krillin and the gang move Goku to the literal second place the androids will look; Kame House. On the Z-fighters way to Kame House Bulma sends some concerning information.

Android 18 stops to get some new clothes. Gohan, Trunks, and Bulma investigate the site of a strange company vehicle and find another time machine that seems to be identical to Trunks. What is going on here? After Piccolo fuses he goes to investigate a disturbance in ginger town. What he finds is a ghost town with nothing but clothes strewn about. Who could have done this?

Piccolo faces off against the sinister Cell A bio-mechanical android form the future hell-bent on achieving his perfection who drinks people. Can Piccolo survive this deadly new foe? And what does Cell mean by perfection?

After Cell Escapes Piccolo and Tien pursue his trial while Krillin and Trunks go back to Dr. Gero's lab ruins to try and find his secret lab and destroy it. Meanwhile, Cell's carnage spreads to Nickytown

Goku finally wakes up after an extended fight with his illness; Feeling the need for more training to take on the androids Goku decides to gather the Saiyans and take them to the lookout to train. In order to convince Chi-chi to allow him to take Gohan along he makes a deal with the devil. After also collecting Vegeta and Trunks Goku heads to the lookout to get permission to train in the hyperbolic time chamber a unique space where time slows down so someone can get a year's worth of training in a day. The only catch is that only two people can go in at a time, Vegeta and Trunks head in first. Meanwhile, the androids having found Goku's house deserted fly over to Kame House only to find Piccolo. Frustrated they demand Goku's location, but Piccolo refuses, and they take their fight over to a series of uninhabited islands.

Piccolo and 17 face off. Unfortunately, their fight draws out an unwelcome guest.

Cell crashes the androids and Piccalo's party. Krillin speeds off to retrieve the androids detonator, and Tien goes to help Piccolo. After Piccolo is put out of Commission by Cell Android 16 has to step up to stop Cell from absorbing the androids. Can he stop Cell?

After Cell absorbs Android 17 things seem dire for 16 and 18, but Tien arrives and puts his life on the line to buy time for them to get away. Now that Cell is stronger than ever can Tien hold the line?

After Goku gets back from rescuing Tien and Piccolo Trunks and Vegeta come out of the time chamber and head after Cell who is destroying all the surrounding islands in his search for the androids. Will their training be enough to defeat Cell?

Goku and Gohan begin their training in the time chamber. Meanwhile, Vegeta's new power allows him to bulldoze Cell and it seems like all is lost for Cell, but will Vegeta's hubris be his downfall?

Turns out leaving the task of resolving things to Vegeta and Krillin might be asking a bit much find who screws this up and allows Cell to achieve his perfect form.
